Purpose
The Career Development Coordination Unit was established to contribute to the academic and personal development of students of the Faculty of Education and to support them in entering professional life as qualified individuals capable of competing at the global level. To achieve this purpose, the Coordination Unit aims to organize the following activities:
Scope
Various activities and training programs, such as career talks and meetings with exemplary educators, are organized within the Career Development Coordination Unit of the Faculty of Education.
Career Talks
Career Talks encompass events that bring students of the Faculty of Education together with educators who have diverse career experiences, enabling students to discover their abilities across different fields. Within this scope, awareness-oriented activities are organized to support students’ careers, covering topics such as post-graduation professional life, the teaching journey, the meaning and challenges of being a teacher, working as a teacher in the public and private sectors, entrepreneurial teaching, and similar subjects.
Meetings with Exemplary Educators
Meetings with Exemplary Educators encompass activities that bring together students with individuals who are graduates of the Faculty of Education and have established exemplary teaching careers, through face-to-face or online meetings/sessions, in order to contribute to students’ gaining further insight into professional life and career options. The individuals invited to these meetings may include those working in Tokat Province, as well as individuals living in more distant locations who wish to contribute to the subject.
Other Activities
All other types of sharing activities that may contribute to the career development of our Faculty students are organized within the Coordination Unit. Various training sessions and sharing activities may also be organized in line with students’ requests and expectations.
