The purpose of the Social and Cultural Activities Coordination Unit of the Faculty of Education is to improve the social and cultural experiences of students, faculty members, and staff within the Faculty. As the Coordination Unit, one of our primary objectives is to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment that supports learning, personal development, and well-being.

The Social and Cultural Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing various activities that appeal to the different interests of the university community. These may include cultural celebrations, career development activities, social trips, and other activities that encourage community building and participation. In addition, the Coordinator works closely with student organizations, academic departments, and other university organizations to coordinate activities and initiatives that promote interdisciplinary learning and collaboration.

The Coordination Unit also plays an important role in supporting the mission and values of the Faculty of Education and works to ensure that social and cultural activities are aligned with the educational aims and objectives of the Faculty. It also collaborates with other faculties and universities to create joint activities and initiatives that benefit the wider educational community.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Coordination Unit

• To organize social/cultural activities involving faculty members and students within the Faculty of Education,
• To revise social/cultural activities within the framework of the opinions and suggestions of faculty members and students,
• To organize trips/travel/sports activities,
• To ensure the determination of social and cultural activity topics that will contribute to the academic development of academics and students,
• To cooperate with other coordination units in organizing periodic events such as the academic opening ceremony, anniversary of the university's establishment, national holidays, and graduation ceremonies held at our University,
• To carry out announcement activities for social and cultural activities within the institution in cooperation with other coordination units,
• To submit an activity report to the Dean's Office at the end of the academic year regarding the activities carried out during that academic year.
