‘I Have an Idea on Education’ Event Completed

The award ceremony of the ‘I Have an Idea about Education’ competition organized by our faculty was held. 15 July Congress and Culture Centre National Will Hall was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Erdal ŞENOCAK, faculty members, and students.

Faculty of Education faculty member Prof. Dr. Nail YILDIRIM stated in his speech that they had developed an understanding that puts the student at the center. YILDIRIM emphasized that this competition, which is organized for students from universities that claim to be universal to present their innovative ideas, encourages students to think and understand the importance of ideas.

In his speech, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Erdal ŞENOCAK, stated that the Faculty of Education cares about the innovative ideas of the students. He also congratulated all the students who participated in the competition and ended his speech by thanking everyone who contributed to the preparation of the program.

After the opening speeches, the top ten ideas were presented. The jury members Prof. Dr. Erdal ŞENOCAK, Prof. Dr. Gülay ASLAN, Prof. Dr. Necmi EŞGİ, Prof. Dr. Fevzi DURSUN and the participants in the hall made the evaluation. During the evaluation, the students of TOGU State Conservatoire performed a minstrel ditty and music recital. Afterward, the top three ideas were announced. The idea named ‘Raising Awareness of Families of Individuals with Special Needs with VR Glasses’ was ranked first, the idea named ‘Empathy Space’ was ranked second, and the idea named ‘My Fun Desk’ was ranked third. The owners of the ranked ideas were presented with their awards. The program, in which ideas related to education competed, was completed with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to all finalists and a photo shoot.
