Notes

  1. Students who meet the application and admission requirements for a Double Major Program may apply to only one double major program. Applications must be submitted in person.
  2. Due to the quota limitations stipulated by the relevant regulations, when multiple students from the same program and cohort apply to the same double major program, only the applicant with the highest academic standing will be admitted. If the announced quota is not filled through this process, the remaining places will be allocated to other applicants based on their academic ranking until the quota is filled.
  3. For applications to the Music Education and Art Education (Painting Education) undergraduate programs offered by the Department of Fine Arts Education, applicants must satisfy not only the academic achievement requirements specified in the Regulation on Transfers Between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major and Minor Programs, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions, but also the provision set forth in Article 16, Paragraph 5 of the same Regulation:

“For admission to a double major diploma program that admits students through a talent/aptitude examination, applicants must also successfully pass the relevant talent/aptitude examination.”

  1. Students applying for a double major or minor in the English Language Education Program from programs taught in Turkish must satisfy at least one of the following requirements:

a) Hold a valid score equivalent to at least 80 points on a nationally or internationally recognized foreign language examination accepted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK);

b) Have completed their secondary education at an institution where the language of instruction is English, located in a country where English is the native language, and have studied there for at least the last three years of their secondary education.

  1. For double major or minor applications to the English Language Education Program from programs offering 30% or 100% English-medium instruction, students who have already met the foreign language proficiency requirements of their current program shall not be required to provide additional proof of language proficiency.
