Breast Cancer and Prevention Panel Was Organized at Our University

A panel on breast cancer and prevention was organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Palliative Care Club.

Academicians and students attended the event held in the Şehit Ömer Halisdemir conference hall.

In the panel, which started with the opening speech of Büşra Yalnız, the president of the Palliative Care Club, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aygül Kıssal made a presentation on the importance and symptoms of breast cancer, and Asst. Prof. Tuğba Solmaz made a presentation on when and how to do breast self-examination. In the panel, which continued with the life experience presentation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Medine Koç, breast cancer, early diagnosis, and breast cancer prevention methods were shared with the participants in all details.

After the event, a certificate of appreciation was presented to the speakers.
